Man shot in leg on Northwest Side

SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering after being shot in the leg while standing outside of his Northwest Side home, San Antonio police said.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7300 block of Timber Ridge.

Police said the victim, in his 60s, was not the intended target.

Police are searching for the gunman who drove up to the house, pulled the trigger and left.

The victim was taken to University Hospital and is expected to be OK.
