SAPD: Pregnant woman stabs self in stomach, tries to abort baby

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio woman accused of trying to end her own pregnancy by stabbing herself in the stomach was taken to the hospital Sunday morning.

We're told it started with an argument between the woman and her boyfriend in the 900 block of Ceralvo Street.

At first, the woman told police she was stabbed by another man, but then later admitted she stabbed herself to try and abort the baby.

The woman, who is four months pregnant, was taken to University Hospital.

There is no word on the condition of the woman or the baby.
