Police investigating after 14-year-old boy shot in ankle Incident happened in 12800 block of Independence Avenue
SAN ANTONIO – Police are investigating a shooting in the 12800 block of Independence Avenue after a 14-year-old suffered a gunshot wound on his ankle.
Police said they responded to a call about the shooting at 1:16 a.m., but the victim was already gone. The 14-year-old victim was at the Northeast Methodist Hospital in Live Oak.
The 14-year-old boy was shot in the ankle, police said.
