Family of woman missing for 12 years holding onto hope they'll find her

SAN ANTONIO – Family and loved ones gathered Saturday, 12 years after an expectant mother disappeared and hasn’t been seen since.

Lucero Sarabia was 21, and eight months pregnant, when she was last seen. She attended a Thanksgiving night party with friends but never made it home.

Sarabia’s loved ones gather on Nov. 26 every year in the hope that she will come home after years of no answers.

“It’s just little bits here and there. It’s not nothing concrete or anything, just following leads here and there, but they (investigators) won’t tell us too much,” said Alvin Sarabia, Lucero Sarabia’s brother.
