Security guard accused of stealing Rolex during sporting event, arrest affidavit says

SAN ANTONIO – A security guard is accused of stealing a Rolex watch during a sporting event, an arrest affidavit said.

Juan Carlos Gonzalez is charged with theft. The arrest affidavit said he was working the event.

The victim went through a metal detector but forgot to take his Rolex with him. That’s when Gonzalez grabbed the watch and put it in his pocket.

The victim eventually remembered he forgot his $9,000 watch and filed a police report.

Detectives arrested Gonzalez after reviewing surveillance video which captured the whole crime.
