Man critically injured in NE Side shooting

Shooting occurred in 4600 block of Thousand Oaks Drive

SAN ANTONIO – Police spent Monday evening looking for two men in connection to a shooting that left the victim critically injured.

The shooting occurred at the Sedona Canyon Apartment Complex in the 4600 block of Thousand Oaks Drive on San Antonio’s Northeast Side.

Police said the three men got into a fight that ended in gunfire. After the shooting, the victim walked to a gas station for aid.

Multiple canine units searched the apartment complex and not far police found a gun in a parking lot.

"I want to move,” Norma Fernandez said. “I'm afraid for my kids.”

Fernandez lives at the complex and saw the victim.

San Antonio police believe the victim may have been armed. They are looking for the dark-colored car in which the suspects were seen leaving.
