SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are still trying to track down the person who shot and killed a man in a West Side neighborhood back in July.

They've issued an appeal for information through Crime Stoppers.

Christopher Lozano, 31, was shot and killed July 27 while he was standing outside a home in the 3500 block of El Paso Street.

Witnesses told police someone inside a gray Nissan fired the shots.

Lozano's murder happened on the heels of another shooting on the same street.

In that case, another man, Glen Montellano, was shot in the head.  

Police arrested two suspects, Christian Lozano, 20, and Julius Barron, 18, in connection with that case.

At the time, they said they were looking into whether ChrIstopher Lozano's murder might be related to the earlier shooting.

However, it appears they still do not know who his killer was.
