Anti-bullying groups speak to Incarnate Word High School students

David's Legacy Foundation, other anti-bullying groups spoke at IWHS

SAN ANTONIO – David’s Legacy Foundation and other anti-bullying groups spoke to students at Incarnate Word High School on Tuesday morning to spread awareness about the dangers of cyberbullying.

David Molak’s mother, Maurine, told the students about her son’s story and the damage cyberbullying caused her family and the community. David Molak took his own life last year.

Maurine Molak said this generation is growing up with options to extend their social life online, and they may be the key to help end cyberbullying.

“This is the language that they speak, and they are going to be the ones to determine how we move forward with this for long-term solutions to protect them, as well as future generations,” Maurine Molak said.

The Don’t Bully Me project was at also the high school to tell the students about David’s Law and the legal implications of cyberbullying.
