Drug case from NY leads to arrests, cash and narcotics seizure in east San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – A felony drug case out of New York led to the arrest of two men in east San Antonio on Thursday morning. 

Bexar County sheriff’s deputies executed an arrest warrant for Carlos Tolentino Jr., 37, at a home in the 2000 block of Wyoming Street.

Tolentino was wanted in the drug case from out of state.

Deputies walked into the home and noticed several plastic bags consistent with narcotic packaging.

They also noticed a plastic container with a liquid substance, which was later identified as methamphetamine.

Deputies obtained a warrant to search the home and seized; 1,023 grams of marijuana, 291 grams of heroin, 28 grams of cocaine and 225 grams of methamphetamine.

A press release said $22,000, as well as the prescription drugs was also seized.

Luigi Cordero, 30, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug as well.
