SAN ANTONIO - Law enforcement officers are asking for help to find a San Antonio mother accused of taking her daughter into hiding three years ago.

Kathryn Ann Baldwin, 43, faces a charge of interference with child custody.

"In September 2015, Kathryn Baldwin and her daughter, Ava Baldwin, went missing at the conclusion of a child custody hearing in Bexar County District Court," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman. "In October 2017, a warrant was issued for Kathryn Baldwin's arrest after she allegedly failed to comply with court orders and went into hiding with her daughter, Ava."

A photo taken before Kathryn and Ava Baldwin disappeared was released. It shows the mother and daughter surrounded by pumpkins.

Kathryn Baldwin is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has blonde or strawberry hair with hazel eyes.

Ava Baldwin is about 4 feet tall and weighs 60 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

While Kathryn Baldwin was born in Oklahoma, Bozeman said the mother and daughter lived on San Antonio's Southwest Side.
