Man dies after getting shot on West Side, police say Several shell casings found at the scene
SAN ANTONIO – A man died after he was shot Monday morning on the West Side.
San Antonio police said the shooting happened just before 8 a.m. in the 1200 block of W. Cesar Chavez Boulevard, not far from South Brazos and Guadalupe streets.
The man died at the hospital. His name has not been released.
Officers said they do not know what led up to the shooting but they did find several shell casings in the area.
So far they have not arrested anyone in connection with the shooting.
