Man dies after crashing motorcycle into ditch on North Side, SAPD says

No other injuries were reported

SAN ANTONIO – An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was found dead near a ditch on the city’s North Side.

SAPD responded to the incident just after 7 p.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Briarfield.

Police said a man in his late 40s to early 50s crashed his motorcycle in a ditch and hit his head on concrete nearby. He was found about an hour later.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, SAPD said.

Investigators said there are no witnesses to the crash and are unsure what led up to it.
