San Marcos and Texas State University seek public input on transit system The San Marcos Community Survey can be completed until Jan. 31

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Do you live in San Marcos? If so, San Marcos officials and Texas State University want your input on the city’s transportation system.
According to the city’s website, the San Marcos Community Survey will collect data on ridership patterns, service gaps and route efficiency.
Anyone who wants to complete the survey must take it by Jan. 31, 2025.
The end goal, the city says, is to reduce traffic and enhance transportation options for visitors, community members and students.
The survey is also available in Spanish .
