San Antonio man arrested after high-speed pursuit ends in Floresville, Wilson County Sheriff’s Office says

WILSON COUNTY, Texas – A San Antonio man traveling through northeast Wilson County was arrested after a high-speed pursuit ended in Floresville, according to the sheriff’s office.

Christopher Connsolato is accused of fleeing from a traffic stop, prompting a pursuit Friday evening, the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Saturday.

The sheriff’s office said it received a tip from San Antonio police about a “wanted felon” traveling from San Antonio through northeast Wilson County around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

A deputy, along with La Vernia police officers, located the vehicle Connsolato was allegedly driving, the release stated.

The release said when the deputy tried to stop the vehicle for an equipment violation, Connsolato allegedly fled at a high rate of speed on State Highway 97 toward Floresville.

The sheriff’s office said the deputy deployed stop sticks, disabling the vehicle and allowing deputies to take Connsolato into custody without injury.

No deputies or officers were hurt during the pursuit, the release said.

Connsolato was charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving and resisting arrest, along with an outstanding felony warrant, the sheriff’s office said. Additional charges are pending.
