SAN ANTONIO – A gunshot victim told police someone walked up to his car and shot him through the window Sunday afternoon.
The man said he drove away and got to a safe place in the 7100 block of Rolling Hills Lane, where he called police for help.

Police said the victim told them he was shot in the shoulder on a nearby street.
The man was transported to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said they recovered drug paraphernalia in the man's vehicle. However, it's unclear if that had anything to do with the shooting.
