SA Zoo, Sea World, other partners team up to help animals in Houston

HOUSTON – The San Antonio Zoo, Sea World and other partners teamed up to help animals in Houston. 

They were able to airlift supplies, including food, into Houston’s downtown aquarium, which is flooded.

Workers have been there taking care of animals since Friday, and no one has been able to access the area since then.

The helicopter was donated.

The zoo has been coordinating a statewide effort to provide help to zoological facilities affected by Hurricane Harvey.
