SAPD releases 'Hot Cops Calendar' as part of fundraiser for victims of Harvey

SAPD challenges Gainesville PD's hot cops in Facebook post

SAN ANTONIO – With just 3 months left in 2017, you're bound to need a new calendar.

On Tuesday, the San Antonio Police Department released a "hot cop" calendar featuring some of "San Antonio's Finest" -- literally.

The calendar is for a good cause, too. Proceeds from the $20 calendar will go to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

According to the purchase website, all funds raised will be donated to the schools in Woodsboro, Tivoli and Refugio -- all small Texas towns "that need big city help."

When the calendars are ready for pickup, purchasers will receive an email regarding pick up dates. According to the website, you will need a photo ID for pickup.

Many were excited about the announcement. Marie Zepeda said, "Yes, we are ready!"

When people asked for better previews from the calendar, SAPD said "no way."

"Gotta buy the goods to see the goods!" SAPD replied on Facebook.

SAPD also called out the Gainesville Police Department. Officers from that department posted a photo to Facebook in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and went viral -- many commenters noting how attractive the officers are.
