Texans RB Foster may need surgery, report says

Foster suffers groin injury in practice

HOUSTON – Houston Texans running back Arian Foster suffered a groin injury and may need surgery.

According to a report on ESPN.com, Foster was injured Monday night during a pass play in the team's first training camp practice in full pads.

The injury might force Foster to miss the start of the regular season, the report said.

Foster didn't play in three games last season and missed portions of three others because of injuries.
