A man accused of exposing himself to a group of middle school students on a school bus is now in custody, according to San Antonio police.

Velton Maurice Washington, 47, was pronounced dead at a local hospital following Monday's crash.

San Antonio police responded to the scene around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Evans Road. Police said the driver of a white Infiniti G35 that was traveling eastbound on Stone Oak Parkway ran a red light and struck a BMW that was in the intersection. The driver of the Infinity, identified as 36-year-old Natalie Chapman, was found to be intoxicated and arrested on a charge of intoxication assault, according to SAPD.

Police are searching for a suspect in an aggravated robbery that happened on Oct. 18, 2020, in the parking lot of a shopping center in the 21100 block of U.S. Highway 281 North, near Evans Road. SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for a second suspect in an aggravated robbery that happened back in October. A woman wearing a black and yellow jersey was identified, police said, and a warrant is out for her arrest. She is facing a charge of aggravated robbery. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Compared to previous elections, 33,786 voted on the eighth day of early voting during the 2016 election and 31,260 voted on the eighth day of early voting in 2018. That’s compared to 34,020 ballots cast on the first day of early voting in 2018 and 35,431 ballots cast on the first day of early voting in 2016.
