Glamping was a great travel option in 2020 because it gave travelers the ability to social distance and most people could drive to many locations as opposed to taking public transportation. In fact, GlampingHub, a website that offers unique glamping accommodations across the globe, had a record-breaking year with a 109% increase in booking requests for 2020 compared to previous years, according to a spokesperson. Glamping, in case you didn’t know, is a glamorous twist on traditional camping with more amenities and higher comfort. So where did people want to stay in Texas? Treehouses, tents, and tipis were among the top destinations, data shows.
