San Antonio police officers have arrested a second man they believe is also responsible for a deadly drive-by shooting at a Southwest Side family barbecue nearly four full years ago.

Nathan Martinez, 19, was wanted on several warrants, including capital murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and murder.

The San Antonio man was hospitalized in early July after a cough and fever persisted for days. Martinez was at Baptist Hospital in downtown San Antonio for about a month on a ventilator.
