KSAT, San Antonio Report and Bexar Facts to host mayoral forum ahead of early voting

San Antonio Report Editor Robert Rivard and KSAT Anchor Steve Spriester, who will serve as moderators of the forums, called the mayor this week to try to convince him to take part in a debate. SAN ANTONIO โ According to the newest Bexar Facts-KSAT-San Antonio Report poll, most San Antonio residents support the 1/8 cent sales tax propositions that would fund Pre-K for S.A., transportation and job training programs. In the latest KSAT Q&A, Mayor Ron Nirenberg said heโs pleased with these results. Q: Why are we approving something now that wonโt be used for transportation for several more years? โWe have to plan the transportation of the future,โ Nirenberg said. We have to be able to take down some of those federal funds that are due to us in order to build our transportation system of the future.
Bexar Facts poll: Joe Biden leads Donald Trump 52%-35% among likely Bexar County voters
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are leading Donald Trump and Mike Pence among likely Bexar County voters by a margin of 17%, according to a new Bexar Facts-KSAT-San Antonio Report poll released Tuesday. The poll of 619 registered Bexar County voters marks the first publicly released survey of San Antonio-area voters for the 2020 presidential race. For example, 63% of likely women voters polled by Bexar Facts say they will vote for Biden, while 44% of men said theyโd vote for Trump.
