Schertz police are urging drivers to be cautious at railroad crossings after an 18-wheeler and train collided on Sunday morning.

Parts of Interstate 35 on the Northeast Side will be closed overnight this week, the Texas Department of Transportation said in a news release.

Their efforts are part of a new program called Project Flagline, which is meant to lift spirits after the cancellation of the City of Schertz Independence Day Parade and Jubilee.
