Currently, Mexican Pizza packaging accounts for over 7 million pounds of paperboard material per year in the U.S., Taco Bell said in a news release. Taco Bell says fresh tomatoes will be replacing its pico de gallo. The Shredded Chicken Soft Taco, Shredded Chicken Burrito, and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt will also be off the menu by Nov. 5. Taco Bell says it is also testing the return of its Quesalupa in Knoxville, Tennessee, starting Sept. 24 before bringing it back to menus nationwide next year.
