Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe said at a news conference Tuesday that following a wreck โa couple of days ago,โ federal authorities wouldnโt take custody of four suspected undocumented immigrants until they had been checked out by a doctor. Coe said the four people werenโt hurt and had declined medical attention, and he didnโt want to take up โfour or five hoursโ of his deputiesโ time waiting for them to be examined.
