SAN ANTONIO – UPDATE: TxDOT reports that all the lanes of Interstate 35 northbound at Toepperwein Road have reopened following a multi-vehicle crash early Thursday morning.

A multi-vehicle crash has shut down part of Interstate 35 on the city’s Northeast Side early Thursday morning.
The crash was reported around 6 a.m. along I-35 northbound at Toepperwein Road.
TxDOT reports that several vehicles are involved and that the highway has been shut down for cleanup. It is unclear if there were injuries.
Authorities advise using an alternate route of possible. It is not known when the highway will reopen.
