Man killed in hit-and-run identified

Victim ID'd as James Grady Hicks, 64; fatality reported Monday on San Pedro Ave.

The victim was identified as James Grady Hicks, 64, the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office said.

A man has died following a hit and run accident on the city's North Side overnight, the Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed Monday.

The name of the man killed has yet to be released.

A man is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle on the city's North Side overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.

The accident was reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 10000 block of San Pedro Avenue, not far from East Ramsey Road.

Police said an elderly man was trying to cross the street when he was hit by a blue pick-up truck.

The driver did not stop to render aid, police said.

The injured man's condition is not currently known and officials say he was not walking in a crosswalk.
