Quintero was charged, along with three other defendants, for his role in a 2009 aggravated sexual assault of a 15-year-old female in rural Caldwell County.

Information developed by task force investigators determined Quintero fled to the San Antonio area and was staying with individuals.

Task force officers converged Thursday morning in the 400 block of Heimer Road in northern San Antonio and quickly apprehended Quintero.

Dan Law, Caldwell County Sheriff, commented, "This task force is the premier example of what can be done when federal, state and local law enforcement work together focusing our resources towards a common goal."

Any further charges will be investigated by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office and presented to the District Attorney's Office. Quintero will be transferred to the custody of the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office.
