An arrest affidavit stated Tucker stole the 88-year-old woman's checks from her car in May and tried to cash one at a Speedy Cash on SW Military Drive.
The clerk noticed some inaccuracies with Tucker's ID that led her to believe it was counterfeit. The clerk then called the phone number of the check and was told it had been stolen.
Tucker said she had to run to her vehicle to get something and fled in an SUV. The affidavit stated Tucker was later identified from a photo lineup and arrested.
The affidavit did not state if Tucker would face any charges related to the check theft.
