McDonald's fight ends with teens getting run over

1 taken to hospital for treatment

A fight at a West Side McDonald's took a bizarre twist Friday morning that sent a teen to the hospital.

It happened just before 7 a.m. at the McDonald's on Culebra at 36th Street.

It all began when an argument between a group teenagers turned into a fight, according to police.

A shot was fired and at least one of the teens involved tried to flee in his car.

As he was leaving, he ran over two other teenagers.

One was not seriously hurt but the other taken by EMS to University Hospital.

Police are questioning several witnesses and reviewing surveillance video from the restaurant's security cameras.
