Shooting victim pleads for help at Whataburger

SAPD: Man uncooperative after shooting

SAN ANTONIO – A man suffering from a gunshot wound showed up at a North Side Whataburger asking for help early Wednesday morning, San Antonio police said.

However, they said he was uncooperative with officers who arrived to investigate the shooting.

According to police, the man who is in his 20s, walked into Whataburger on San Pedro Avenue near Sahara Drive shortly after 12:30 a.m.

They said he was suffering from a gunshot wound to his right hand and was taken to University Hospital for treatment.

Investigators do not believe the shooting happened at the restaurant. They said the man told them he had no idea who shot him.
