SAPD: Man, 32, assaults older victim after Spurs game

Francisco Hernandez Jr. charged with injury to the elderly

SAN ANTONIO – A 32-year-old man is facing charges after police said he beat up an older man after a Spurs game.

Francisco Hernandez Jr. was arrested Wednesday and charged with injury to the elderly.

Police investigators said the victim was in his car with his girlfriend leaving a Spurs game on Dec. 17 when Hernandez hit the car with his truck.

The victim got out and began arguing with Hernandez, who police said pushed the man to the ground, then got back into his own vehicle.

The victim followed Hernandez to his truck, where police said two other men joined in the fight, kicking, beating, and stomping the victim.

The victim's girlfriend stayed in the car but said she took pictures.

Both she and the victim identified Hernandez in a photo lineup last week.
