White Rabbit reopens as Paper Tiger

SAN ANTONIO – A landmark music venue on St. Mary's Street that closed last year reopened Friday with new management and a new name.

The Paper Tiger opened Friday night in the building that was once the White Rabbit.

The outside was painted and the inside was renovated, with a new sound system that's being showcased this weekend.

Paper Tiger's weekend lineup features bands from around the world.

Music lovers can enjoy free entry to the venue all weekend with no cover charge.

The White Rabbit closed its doors in December.
