Convicted child molester sentenced to 60 years Willie Antonio Ortiz, 42, convicted in early April No description found
SAN ANTONIO – A 42-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to 60 years in prison for aggravated assault of a child and 20 years in prison for indecency with a child.
The Bexar County Criminal District Attorney's Office said Willie Antonio Ortiz began molesting two young girls when they were 6. The abuse lasted from from 1999-2003.
The girls kept the abuse a secret until one of them reportedly couldn't deal with it emotionally anymore.
The DA's Office said Ortiz denied his involvement during his trial and was belligerant before jurors.
Ortiz was convicted of the crimes in early April. He will serve his prison terms concurrently.
