Austin company buys old Lone Star Brewery
SAN ANTONIO ā Austin-based AquaLand Development purchased the old Lone Star Brewery on Tuesday.
Mark Smith tells KSAT 12 the companyĀ would like to reinvent the old brewery and thinks a mixed-use development with housing, retail and restaurants could be in the site's future.
The brewery was once bustling with tours, a beer garden and a spring-fed swimming pool.
A timeline of future construction has not been released. The sale price was not disclosed.
