SAN ANTONIO – The hustle and bustle of a new store opening can be busy enough. But on Thursday the Spurs and Academy Sports + Outdoors opened the doors of the sports store early for some deserving kids.
35 children from InspireU were able to spend $100 to buy whatever they wanted.
The San Antonio Spurs mascot, The Coyote, even made a special appearance.
The new store located at 11650 Bandera Road, officially opens for everyone else Friday at 8 a.m.
