SAN ANTONIO – A man found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds has died at an area hospital, San Antonio police said Friday.
The incident was reported around 11:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Sunrise Creek on the city's Northeast Side.
Police said when they arrived at the scene they found the man lying in the middle of the street shot numerous times.
SAPD said they spoke to a witness that told them that two cars had driven up and began to shoot at the victim who was walking alone.
The man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center where he later died.
At this time the name of the victim and a motive are not presently known.
No arrests have been made in the case.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
