Deputies search for chase suspects

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County deputies have called off a search for two suspects involved in a chase on the city's Northeast side. 

According to deputies, they tried stopping the car for a traffic violation in the Woodlake subdivision near Foster Road. 

Deputies said the driver sped down Gibbs Sprawl Road to Rittiman Road. 

The driver stopped at Interstate Highway 35 and Holbrook, and two suspects took off running. 

The Department of Public Safety helicopter was called in to assist with the search. After searching for two hours, deputies called off the active hunt. Those two suspects are still at large.
