The investigation led officers to the Auld Ranch in west Kerr County. Deputies said it was the last place King was seen.

After probable cause was developed Friday, a search warrant was issued for the 5,600-acre ranch, deputies said. Multiple agencies were involved in the search.

During the search, the vehicle that King was last seen in was found in a remote location on the ranch loaded on a trailer, deputies said.

Eric Daniel Auld, 36, was taken into custody and Auld was charged with murder, deputies said.

The search also resulted in other evidence. Deputies said an anthropology team from Texas State University would be on-site Saturday to continue the search for King.
