Go ahead and pack up your things and go home. It's National Leave the Office Early Day!

The unofficial holiday was created by an employee productivity specialist as an incentive for the many workers who often work more than 40 hours a week.

You're apparently supposed to finish your work as soon as you can and then get your manager's approval to cut out early.

National Leave the Office Early Day is observed each year on June 2. If that day falls on a weekend, the day is observed on the closest work day.

June 2 is also National Doughnut Day so grab a free doughnut on your way home.
