SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Hays County Sheriff’s Office has arrested eight people tied to a string of car break-ins near Dripping Springs.

On Sept. 25-26, several cars were burglarized and a car was stolen.

Several days later, deputies served a warrant at a home in the 200 block of Barton Bend Road, arrested the homeowner and found $20,000 in stolen property.

In the following days, seven other people were arrested.

James Clint Boyd, 31; John Michael Lemmons, 35; Jeremy Petmecky, 35; Nathanael Goodson, 31; Kristen Elaine Kelly, 31; Tori Lynn Halenza, 20; Rojer Dale Martinez, 23; Troy Glenn Barnes, 55, were all arrested.

Investigators said the arrest of the suspects helped clear numerous unsolved burglaries in the Dripping Springs area.

The suspects face various charges.
