SAN ANTONIO – A 26-year-old man has been arrested, accused of robbing a Lyft driver of both his car and wallet, San Antonio police said.
Emmanuel Maldonado is charged with aggravated robbery.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Maldonado requested a pickup from the service back in September. Maldonado allegedly asked to stop at a nearby gas station before pointing a gun at the driver and demanding both his wallet and car.
Investigators said Maldonado bought two things from a convenience store using the victim's stolen credit card shortly after the robbery, enabling them to track him down.
