Mann Packing of Salinas, California is voluntarily recalling minimally processed vegetable products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
More than 20 brands were yanked from shelves in the United States and Canada after one of its products tested positive in random sampling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

HEB, Walmart and Trader Joe's are all included in the recall. Items include broccoli, salad blends, vegetable medleys and cauliflower. Click here for a full list of recalled items.

Public health officials have not reported any illnesses associated with the products, Mann Packing said.
What is Listeria monocytogenes?
Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
Symptoms of Listeria
Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Most people report symptoms between one to four weeks after contamination, some have reported symptoms as late as 70 days after exposure or as early as the same day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
How do I know if I have recalled vegetables?
The recalled products were distributed throughout the United States and Canada with "best if used by" dates from Oct. 11-20 listed on the front of the packaging, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
