7-Eleven clerk shot during robbery, 2 suspects sought

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for an aggravated robbery.

The shooting occurred Saturday, Nov. 25 at a 7-Eleven located in the 2300 block of West Avenue.

According to police, around 5:40 a.m. a man and a woman attempted to steal several items from the convenience store.

As the pair fled the location the store clerk followed them outside and then attempted to recover the stolen items. That's when, police said, the clerk was shot during the struggle.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
