Police seeking gunman behind shooting at NW Side motel Victim was shot in chest, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A man involved in an argument or fight at a Northwest Side motel suffered serious gunshots wounds in a shooting afterward.
San Antonio police believe the two incidents are related.
They found the victim at the Budget Suites in the 7800 block of Fredericksburg Road after responding to a call shortly before 11 p.m. Monday.

Officers said the victim had been shot in the chest by someone who drove up in a car.
He had been involved in an altercation at some point before that, police said.
The man who was shot was rushed to University Hospital for treatment. Police said he was in extremely critical condition.
They did not release his name right away but did say he was in his 20s.
The shooter sped off in a car.
Police said they searched the area but did not find that person.
