A new French spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Beacon Hill, called Julia's Bistro & Bar, is located at 1725 Blanco Road.

"A French-American dining experience that will please and provide a nice evening out," is how the restaurant describes itself on its Facebook page. Julia's Bistro & Bar serves up a blend of French and New American fare for dinner in a low-key atmosphere, with braised lamb shank, stuffed pork loin, chicken au vin and grilled salmon being menu highlights.
