The mural, already in the works at South Flores, near Military Drive, will feature the Spurs star's face, his logo "the Klaw" and a Spur.

James is expected to complete his project by the end of the week. He shared photos and videos of his progress to Instagram and the previews are jaw-dropping.

Now, Spurs fans can get a photo with the Spurs great whenever they'd like -- well, sort of.

It's unclear if the painting was commissioned by a business in the area, but whatever the force behind the mural may be, Spurs fans likely support it.

Leonard missed the preseason and the first three games of the regular season.

On Sept. 30, the Spurs announced that the star forward “continues a rehabilitation program for right quadriceps tendinopathy” and that a “timetable for his return to the court will be determined at a later date.”
