Texas high school volleyball player flies through air to make 'superhuman' play

DECATUR, Texas – What’s being called a superhuman, acrobatic play by a Texas high school volleyball player is making the rounds online.

Decatur High School senior captain Autumn Finney made the amazing play on Friday against Krum High School, and the video is now going viral. Decatur is located outside Fort Worth.

Finney laid out with a dive that covered several feet to save a ball that had been hit to the back.

She hit the ball with enough power to get it over the net to opposing side. Decatur won the point as the crowd, bench and coaches went wild.

The play was picked up by several national sports websites including USA Today High School Sports, Sports Illustrated and Deadspin, which called the play "superhuman."
