For the first time in program history, Brandeis wins the UIL Class 6A State title, rallying from a 2-1 set deficit to defeat Keller 3-2 in Saturday's championship match at the Curtis Culwell Center.

In their first UIL State appearance, the Brandeis volleyball team defeated Bridgeland 3-1 in Friday afternoon's Class 6A semifinal, punching their tickets to Saturday's championship match.

A year removed from a runner-up finish, the Brandeis volleyball team swept Austin Vandegrift on Saturday afternoon in the Class 6A Regional Final to punch their tickets to the UIL State tournament for the first time in program history.

In the third round of the UIL volleyball playoffs, Brandeis fends off a Madison rally to win in four sets, while Harlan sweeps Warren to advance to the Regional Semifinals.

Week 8 of the high school volleyball season saw Brandeis avenge an early-season loss to Clark and reclaim control of District 28-6A, while Madison defeated Johnson to stay in the hunt for the playoffs and Boerne swept New Braunfels Davenport in District 28-4A.

In a battle of District 28-6A powers, the Brandeis volleyball team erased a seven-point third-set deficit to sweep Reagan and pull back into a tight district race.

Brandeis High School juniors Carlee Pharris and Jalyn Gibson have been best friends since they were 11 years old. The two dreamed of playing college volleyball together, and soon that will come true for the class of 2022 TCU commits. “They’re great leaders for being young players,” said Williams. “They’re best friends. They have a good team chemistry within themselves, and with the others.”Imagine playing volleyball and getting to set up your best friend for a point.
