Trainees have three minutes to locate and "rescue" a mannequin representing an injured airman from inside a hostile village. Instructors acting as opposing forces, both hostile and nonthreatening, as well as the simulated sounds of IED explosions and gunfire create an intimidating environment. Trainees must utilize their prior Expeditionary Skills and Tactical Combat Casualty Care training, and are evaluated on their ability to demonstrate sound judgement and self-control when dealing with opposing forces.

During BEAST week, trainees live in a simulated combat environment and are tested in various field training exercises and scenarios. We talked to trainees and members of Air Force leadership about the lessons taught in Air Force BMT, along with the humorous nickname bestowed on the Air Force by members of other branches: “Chair Force.”

The newspaper reported that San Antonio officials were informed about the news in a Saturday call with the U.S. Health and Human Services Department. The ship has been docked off the California coast for days, with roughly 3,000 people stuck on board. These passengers will not be released into the general public, Abbott spokesperson John Wittman said in a statement.

Lackland Ushers in New Cyber Warfare Era with Activation of 16th Air Force
The 24th and 25th Air Forces have been deactivated and folded into a new Numbered Air Force command known as the 16th Air Force, which will make information warfare its mission. Lt. Gen. Timothy Haugh, the commander of the 25th Air Force, has taken the reins of the 16th Air Force and been promoted from a two-star to a three-star general in the process. Air Forces Cyber has played a role in connecting cyber warfare with other domains, including land, sea, air, and space. He will lead about 32,000 military and civilian Air Force members assigned to the 16th Air Force. The time has come to strengthen our Air Forces information warfare capabilities, Gen.
